How to Watch The Masked Singer Season 3 Online Abroad

4 Mins read

Season 3 of The Masked Singer will premiere on February 2 at 10:30 PM EST (7:30 PM PST), on FOX, which just happens to be right after the Super Bowl. With more celebrities than ever before (one of whom is apparently a Guinness World Record holder), there’s certainly a lot to look forward to. Below, we’ll explain how to live stream The Masked Singer Season 3 from anywhere, even abroad.

You should note that we’ll only be recommending official sources. While this is an extremely popular show, we don’t recommend using any third-party streams. For a start, they tend to be extremely laggy, with low-resolution video, and to make matters worse, they’re often taken offline for copyright violation. There are plenty of ways to watch The Masked Singer season three online anyway, so there’s no reason to resort to unreliable, unauthorized streams.

The Masked Singer will only air on region-locked streaming services. This means that if you’re currently outside of North America, you’ll need a VPN to access your usual home services.

How to live stream The Masked Singer abroad with a VPN

Usually, streaming services find the user’s location by checking their IP address. When using a VPN, though, only the server’s IP address is visible. This means that by connecting to a server in the required country, you can access region-locked services from abroad. Confused? Take a look at our step-by-step guide below.

Here’s how to watch The Masked Singer Season 3 live online from anywhere:

  1. First, sign up for a suitable VPN if you haven’t already. We recommend ExpressVPN although CyberGhost and NordVPN are two great low-cost alternatives.
  2. Download and install the VPN app. Most providers offer apps for a wide range of platforms, so this should be easy enough.
  3. Decide which of the official broadcasters below you’d like to unblock.
  4. Connect to a VPN server in the appropriate country. You’ll need a US server to unblock FOX, for instance, or a Canadian server to stream CTV abroad.
  5. Visit your chosen service and sign in (or create an account if one is needed). Note that you may need to have a payment method linked to an address in the required country.
  6. Lastly, log in and try playing a video. It should play immediately, but if not, clear your browser’s cookies and refresh the page.

The Masked Singer will air live each week, so we recommend spending a few minutes making sure your VPN works as expected ahead of time. This approach ensures you won’t be blindsided by technical problems at the last second since you’ll have more than enough time to get help from your VPN’s customer support team.

How to watch The Masked Singer Season 3 on US TV

The third season of The Masked Singer will air exclusively on FOX. You can watch for up to an hour, free of charge, but after this, you’ll have to sign in with your cable provider details (or change your IP address) to continue watching. Additionally, FOX’s live stream uses location services to double-check the user’s country; these checks are not performed when viewing on-demand content, though, so to watch from abroad, you can either change your browser location or simply wait a few hours.

Want to watch The Masked Singer without cable? Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV Now, and fuboTV all carry FOX, and all come with a free trial period. However, none of these trials is long enough to let you stream the whole third season for free. If you absolutely have to watch new episodes live, we’d recommend using Sling TV since at $20 USD per month, it’s the least expensive option.

All of the services above are region-locked, so you’ll need a VPN to access them from outside the US. Haven’t decided which one to use yet? ExpressVPN includes a 30-day money-back guarantee, which means you can stream The Masked Singer risk-free. If you’re unimpressed, just cancel within 30 days to get your money back.

Can I stream The Masked Singer Season 3 abroad?

The Masked Singer has exploded in popularity and already has international versions in several countries. Read on to find out how you can watch The Masked Singer where you live:

In Canada, CTV will broadcast The Masked Singer season three at the same time that it’s shown in the US. Although you can watch the most recent episode for free without signing in, you’ll need a cable TV subscription to view the live stream or any episodes that are more than a week old.

CTV is only available in Canada. If you’re currently abroad, you can access it as normal by connecting to one of your VPN’s Canadian servers.

The American version of The Masked Singer isn’t actually being shown in the UK. Instead, ITV is showing a British spinoff with Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, and Ken Jeong. You can stream this live and on-demand via ITV Hub, which is completely free to use (although you will have to create an account first).

ITV Hub is geo-restricted, so you’ll have to either be in the UK or connected to a British VPN server to watch The Masked Singer UK.

Australia isn’t showing season three of The Masked Singer either. However, an Australian version is available to watch on 10play. Note that while you have to create an account, this is very straightforward and should only take a minute.

The judges on this show are Jackie O, Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes, Lindsay Lohan, and Osher Günsberg, although this may change when the second season begins later this year.

10play is region-locked, so if you’re outside of Australia, you won’t be able to watch without a VPN.

What can we expect from season 3 of The Masked Singer?

Let’s start with the facts: Ken Jeong, Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Nicole Scherzinger will all be returning as panelists. We also know that Jamie Foxx will be a guest judge in the first episode and that this season will have more celebrities than ever before (18 versus last year’s 16).

That’s about all we know for sure though. FOX has revealed that its new contestants have 88 Gold records, 11 Super Bowl appearances, and three stars on the Walk of Fame between them, so at the very least, we can expect a varied roster.
