The Good Fight season 4 will premiere on Thursday, April 9. A spin-off and sequel to The Good Wife, it has garnered widespread critical acclaim. As with seasons 1–3, The Good Fight season 4 will consist of 10 45-minute episodes as Diane Lockhart finds herself navigating a very different landscape. If you’re traveling abroad but still want to watch The Good Fight season 4 online, you’ll need to connect to a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Please note that we’ll only be recommending official sources for watching The Good Fight. Unlicensed streams can be taken offline for copyright violation. What’s more, they tend to have low-resolution vide, not to mention performance issues including lag and buffering. There are a number of official sources for streaming The Good Fight season 4, though, which means you don’t have to resort to using unreliable third-party streams.
The Good Fight season 4 will only be shown on region-locked platforms. As such, you’ll need a VPN to continue watching abroad via your favorite streaming services from home.
How to watch The Good Fight season 4 online with a VPN
Connecting to a VPN server ensures your internet traffic is encrypted, securing it from prying eyes. However, these services also provide you with a different IP address. This means you can spoof your location and access region-locked content such as season 4 of The Good Fight, from anywhere in the world.
Here’s how to watch The Good Fight season 4 online from anywhere:
- Start off by signing up with a reputable VPN provider. We recommend ExpressVPN although NordVPN and CyberGhost are high-quality and affordable alternatives.
- Next, download and install the appropriate app for the device on which you’re planning to stream The Good Fight.
- Open and log in to the VPN app before connecting to a server in the United States. This will give you a US IP address, which is required for unblocking CBS All Access.
- Visit CBS and sign up for a CBS All Access account if you don’t already have one.
- Last, try playing a CBS live stream or on-demand video. The content should play without issue. If not, it’s a good idea to clear your browser’s cache and cookies.
It’s important to remember that new episodes of The Good Fight will broadcast live. To avoid missing out, you should test your VPN with CBS ahead of time. All of the above-recommended VPNs offer 24/7 live chat support should you require any further assistance.
How to watch The Good Fight season 4 on US TV
While it’s possible to watch CBS via cable TV and select streaming services, The Good Fight season 4 will premiere exclusively on CBS All Access. When it comes to subscriptions, you have the option of purchasing one with ads ($5.99 USD/month) or without ads ($9.99/month). The latter option also lets you download videos for offline viewing. You can save roughly 15% off the monthly price by purchasing an annual plan ($59.99 with ads or $99.99 ad-free). It’s worth mentioning that CBS All Access is also available on Amazon Prime Video Channels.
The Good Fight is not available on any other major streaming platforms such as Netflix or Hulu. However, you can purchase individual episodes on both Amazon Prime Video and YouTube for $2.99 (HD) or $1.99 (SD). Full seasons are available for the price of $24.99 (HD) and $18.99 (SD).
CBS All Access content is geo-blocked and only available in the US. To watch it when traveling abroad, you’ll need to use a VPN. Simply connect to a US server to get an American IP address and you’re all set. It’s worth keeping in mind that ExpressVPN unblocks CBS All Access and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can try it out risk-free and request a full refund if you’re unsatisfied.
Where else can I watch The Good Fight?
The only way to watch The Good Fight season 4 premiere is on CBS All Access. However, the availability of seasons 1–3 on platforms in several countries suggests that we will soon have more options for watching season 4 online.
Following the success of The Good Wife on its More4 channel, Channel 4 confirmed in May 2017 that it had acquired the rights for The Good Fight. At the time of writing, you can watch the first three seasons of The Good Fight on Channel 4’s All4 VoD service.
The biggest advantage of watching on All4 is that it’s free. In fact, all you need to do is sign up for an account. This means providing your name, email address, date of birth, gender, and address (note that you’ll need to enter a UK postcode but any will do). As All4 content is geo-restricted, you’ll need a UK IP address in order to watch it abroad.
Seasons 1–3 of The Good Fight can be found on various versions of HBO. This includes HBO Nordic which is available in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. The price of a subscription varies from country to country but, as an example, costs 109 kr per month in Norway (roughly $10 USD). In most cases, a one or two-week trial is also available.
A VPN is required to navigate the geo-blocking in place on HBO. All you need to do is connect to a server in another country to change your IP address and the content should be unblocked and ready to watch.
